Activated alumina from Van Air Systems is an ultra-high quality domestically manufactured adsorbent desiccant commonly used in dual tower regenerative desiccant compressed air dryers. Van Air Systems activated alumina is known for having low dust and a high crush strength, which yields an above average service life and greatly reduces the amount of downstream particulate carryover. This results not only in longer service life of the desiccant itself but also means less frequent changing of dryer after-filter elements due to dusting. High dusting is commonplace among downmarket activated alumina products.
